hi Richy, this is bluebuttoneyes from twitter. i am writing you here because twitter keeps giving me a message that i tweet too much...you said you had a relationship with santa for 6 years but i beg to differ...you just wanted toys and presents from the guy your parents lied and said existed. a relationship goes back and forth and it isn't about what you get out of it...it is about getting to know them and trust them and they know you and in God's case He gives you opportunities to show Him you are trustworthy and faithful...as He is faithful to you. my relationship with God has been a bumpy one....but it is definitely not just a "fantasy" or a "fable" for me.
No. i actually didn't expect to ever hear from God and had my own plans for my life...and instead He came into my life and i could not deny Him and don't want to. what i don't understand is why you are so mad about my beliefs. i could see if you were mad at some wrong i was actually doing to others but if my faith makes me a better person to others (though sometimes i do not do what i should do) why do you have a problem with it? i mean, when i didn't believe in God, i was "scary"...im just saying. now, i don't even want to hurt an ant.
I'm not mad at your beliefs, Believe it or not I have many creationists on my twitter I talk to normally regarding evidence, logic etc, The difference is, They accept logic, They admit to the inaccuracies of both the logic and the bible and don't deny evidence when it's presented.
I am sorry that you don't think I am "logical"...I guess my understanding of the Bible...and moreso, the "point" of the Bible is not the same as yours.
hi again, how are you today richy? you mentioned "the earth is flat" in the list of reasons you believed the Bible was inaccurate so i thought i would share the following information with you:
"Isaiah 40:22 states that God 'sits above the circle of the earth.' While there is no Hebrew word for sphere, Khoog which is translated circle, circuit, compass is the closest. Because God is omnipresent, He looks down upon the earth from every direction." I actually looked up the word "sphere" on google translate to see what would come up for hebrew (obviously newer translation since languages change over time) i came up with תחום but then i placed תחום into the first slot and translated it to english and guess what it translated into "domain"
...you are probably wondering why i think you should consider this and the reason is because translations can be lost over time i honestly put the word "sphere" in the first box and came up with the hebrew word תחום then i put hebrew תחום and translated it to english and got domain. it just goes to show how things can get lost in translation. however, i have yet to find the word "khoog" and am going to seek the definition out.

The bible was suppose to be accurate for all times. It's in almost every language there is. If the bible is dictated from a all knowing holy spirit it wouldn't get them wrong as it would know the two would be inconsistent less than 2000 years after.
Hi Richy, if you believe in evolution how can you say "stalin had nothing to do with it" as in your belief system you think people are the way they are because of evolution and not because of sin. if you don't believe in sin, and you think people are the way they are because of evolution...and that some are inferior to others...it is still by evolution that they are "inferior" ...I hope you are having a good day! and that you are not stressed out and that you won't argue with people all day. I would simply ask the question then, what is? I am honestly interested to know what your take is on this subject. where do you believe "morality" comes from?
As children we are taught right from wrong from almost the minute we are born, Then we have it reinforced by the law and as we grow in society we realize that everyone is just like us so the whole treat others like we want to be treated comes into play. If someone needs a book telling them they'll be rewarded for being good then that's not morality that's doing something for a prize.
by the way, Jesus said to the Pharisees that the "children of the Kingdom" would be "cast out" and that many sinners would be entering into the Kingdom. God is love and those without love are not practicing the gospel nor do they know God. I love you and hope that you are doing something fun in New Zealand today!!!

You don't take the bible for what it is, and you weren't consistent when it comes to evidence on evolution and the lack of it for creationism which as iv'e explained disproves itself.
do you like polar bears? little polar bear warm and fuzzy in your mothers care...little polar bear sweetly yawning and snuggling up beside her. yeah it isn't very good song yet...I know...it needs work.
Do I like them yes, Am I scared of them, Yes. Iv'e came face to face with a polar bear before, Their paws are bigger than my chest and torso. They aren't as cuddly as they appear.
To their own babies they are :) but I've never had the privilege to see them in person...I have seen several black bears and a few grizzly bears up close though...(the grizzly bears can run really fast amazing to watch humbling to be "close" to). The grizzly bear that lived by our employee dorms in Yellowstone was only a cub and not aggressive just hungry. I watched a couple of adult ones "mate" with many other witnesses and then they ran off in the same direction I was going to have to walk...scary stuff but well worth it. The blonde black bear I saw in Glorieta New Mexico was probably the closest I've ever been to a bear...I really like bears...I wish they were cuddly.
:( do we always have to argue as humans? can't we ever just be sweet and cuddly and just do something nice for a change? it always makes me feel better when I get to do something sweet or cuddly. I agree with you though, many men and boys were raped and molested and abused by men and women and they get treated badly for it or don't receive any compassion...it sucks that anyone is abusing anyone.
My grandpa on my dads side had prostate cancer and died when my dad was really young so I never met him....I remember a few months before my dad died himself, he had went to the doctor for the first time in years and years and they saw "something" and wanted to do tests to see if he had prostate cancer...he was afraid to go and never went back to the doctor. when he started having chest pains, he wouldn't go to the doctor because he didn't want them to do the prostate test. I am like him about doctors though...my mom was sick my whole life so I watched her go in and out of hospitals all the time. my dad was 71 when he died...my mom was 56 when she died.
I guess I should make it clear that my mom didn't have breast cancer...I was more relating the fact that just because she went to the doctor didn't seem to "help" compared to my dad who didn't go...since she died when she was younger than he did.
